Day 1: Arrival / City Tour
Arrival & Transfer: Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport. Meet-and-greet with a company representative and transfer to the hotel. Hotel check-in. Yerevan City Tour: Discover Yerevan, one of the oldest cities in the world, with a history spanning over 2,800 years. During the tour, you will see the most famous landmarks of the Armenian capital and learn about its rich history, culture, and modern lifestyle. Victory Park & Mother Armenia: Our first stop is Victory Park, located on one of the city's highest hills. Here stands the "Mother Armenia" monument, a symbol of strength and peace. The observation deck offers a magnificent panoramic view of Yerevan and the biblical Mount Ararat. Cascade Complex: A walking tour to the Cascade Complex, one of the city's most recognizable architectural structures. The complex is a giant staircase featuring fountains, flowerbeds, and numerous works of contemporary art. Climbing to the upper terraces allows guests to enjoy a beautiful view of the city center. Opera House & Northern Avenue: We then continue our tour to the Armenian National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre building, an architectural masterpiece of Yerevan and the cultural hub of the country. The walk continues along Northern Avenue, a modern pedestrian street connecting the Opera Theatre with Republic Square. It features boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and modern residential complexes. Republic Square: The final destination of the tour is Republic Square, the heart of Yerevan and the main square of the city. Located here are the Government House, the National Gallery of Armenia, and the History Museum of Armenia. In the evening, the square is especially impressive thanks to its famous singing fountains and beautiful illumination. End of Day: Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 2: Yerevan – Garni Temple – Symphony of Stones – Geghard – Lavash Baking Masterclass – Azat Gorge – Yerevan
Departure to Kotayk: After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the Kotayk Province to explore some of Armenia's most famous historical and natural landmarks. Garni Temple: The first stop is Garni Temple, the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia and the entire Caucasus region. Built in the 1st century AD by King Tiridates I, it was dedicated to Mihr, the god of the sun. Perched on the edge of a picturesque gorge, Garni is an outstanding example of Hellenistic architecture and one of the country's most visited monuments. It offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and gorge. Symphony of Stones: Next, descend into the famous Garni Gorge to visit the "Symphony of Stones" natural monument. This unique geological formation consists of huge, symmetrical hexagonal basalt columns that resemble the pipes of a giant organ. Created by nature millions of years ago, these cliffs are considered one of Armenia's most spectacular natural wonders. Geghard Monastery: The next stop is Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Founded in the 4th century, this monastic complex is partially carved directly into the rock and is considered a masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture. The name of the monastery is associated with the Holy Lance (Spear) which, according to tradition, was used to pierce Jesus Christ. Its unique acoustics, ancient chapels, and spiritual atmosphere make Geghard one of Armenia's most significant religious centers. Lavash Baking Masterclass: Following the excursion, a traditional Armenian lavash baking masterclass awaits. Participants will have the opportunity to make lavash themselves and taste it fresh out of the tandoor (tonir). Light Hiking in Azat Gorge: After the masterclass, embark on a light hike through the scenic Azat River gorge. The trail winds through rocky landscapes, natural terraces, and green valley stretches. The hike offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and basalt canyons. This route is suitable for people with moderate physical fitness and does not require special equipment. Return: Return to Yerevan. Overnight stay at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 3: Yerevan – Echmiadzin (St. Hripsime & St. Gayane Churches) – Zvartnots Temple – Yerevan
Journey to the Spiritual Capital: After breakfast at the hotel, head to the city of Vagharshapat (Echmiadzin), rightfully considered the spiritual center of Armenia and one of the oldest Christian capitals in the world. It is home to the residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians and hosts many of the country's most important religious shrines. Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin: The first point of the program is a visit to the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin, the main cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The cathedral was founded in the early 4th century (in 301 AD) after Armenia adopted Christianity as its state religion, making it one of the first Christian temples in the world. According to tradition, the location for its construction was shown to Saint Gregory the Illuminator in a vision where Christ descended from heaven and pointed to the spot—hence the name "Echmiadzin," which translates to "Descent of the Only Begotten". St. Hripsime and St. Gayane Churches: Next, visit the Church of St. Hripsime (7th century), one of the most elegant and significant examples of early Christian Armenian architecture. The temple is built on the martyrdom site of St. Hripsime, one of Armenia's first Christian martyrs. The church is striking in its strict harmony, stone architecture, and serene spiritual atmosphere. This is followed by a visit to the Church of St. Gayane, also dating back to the 7th century and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple was built in honor of Gayane, the mother superior who, along with Hripsime, suffered martyrdom for her Christian faith. The church's architecture is notable for its monumentality and stands as a vital example of early medieval Armenian building mastery. Rest & Zvartnots Temple: After a brief rest, continue the route to one of the most significant monuments of Armenian architecture: Zvartnots Temple. This majestic cathedral was built in the 7th century by order of Catholicos Nerses III the Builder and was considered a masterpiece of its time, renowned for its grand scale and architectural daring. Although the temple was destroyed by an earthquake in the 10th century, its ruins still make a powerful impression. Today, Zvartnots is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The site offers magnificent panoramic views of Mount Ararat, making the visit exceptionally atmospheric and memorable. Free time is provided here for walking, taking photos, and learning about the history of the monument. Return: Upon completing the excursion, return to Yerevan. Overnight stay at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4: Yerevan – Lake Sevan – Sevanavank – Dilijan – Haghartsin Monastery – Yerevan
Departure to Lake Sevan: After breakfast at the hotel, head to Lake Sevan, one of the most beautiful and famous natural symbols of Armenia. Located at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, Lake Sevan is one of the largest alpine freshwater lakes in the world. Thanks to its picturesque landscapes, clear water, and surrounding mountain scenery, the lake is often called the "Pearl of Armenia". Sevanavank Monastery: Upon arrival, visit Sevanavank Monastery, situated on the Sevan Peninsula. Founded in the 9th century, this monastic complex is one of the most famous spiritual centers in Armenia. To reach the monastery, guests will climb a flight of stairs, which rewards them with magnificent panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The monastery grounds are considered one of the best viewing points in the country. After exploring the monastery, guests can enjoy a walk along the shore of Lake Sevan. Lunch & Transfer to Dilijan: After lunch at a restaurant, we head to Dilijan, one of the most picturesque resort towns in Armenia. Often referred to as "Armenian Switzerland" due to its dense forests, mountain landscapes, and fresh air. Old Dilijan: Upon arrival, take a walk through the historical center of the town, Old Dilijan. Here, traditional 19th-century Armenian architecture has been preserved, featuring characteristic wooden balconies and craft workshops. During the walk, guests can immerse themselves in local culture, visit souvenir shops, and enjoy the cozy mountain town atmosphere. Haghartsin Monastery & Return: Next, visit Haghartsin Monastery, nestled among the lush forests of the national park. Return to Yerevan. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Yerevan – Khor Virap – Areni – Noravank – Yerevan
Departure to Vayots Dzor: After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the Vayots Dzor Province—one of the most scenic regions of Armenia, famous for its winemaking traditions, ancient monasteries, and unique natural landscapes. Khor Virap Monastery: The first stop is Khor Virap Monastery, located at the foot of the biblical Mount Ararat. It is one of Armenia's most revered shrines, closely associated with the adoption of Christianity as the state religion in 301 AD. Areni Wine Region: The journey then continues to the winemaking region of Areni. On the way, guests can visit a local winery in Areni. Wine tasting session. Areni-1 Cave: The next stop is the Areni-1 Cave, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. During excavations, archaeologists discovered the world's oldest winery (over 6,000 years old), a leather shoe, and other unique artifacts testifying to the advanced culture of ancient civilizations. Today, the cave is one of the most fascinating historical sites in Armenia. Noravank Monastery: After visiting the cave, transfer to Noravank Monastery, one of the country's most spectacular monastic complexes. This 13th-century monastery is nestled among the majestic red cliffs of the Amaghu River canyon. Thanks to the unique blend of architecture and surrounding nature, Noravank is considered one of Armenia's signature landmarks. Here, guests can explore ancient churches, carved khachkars (cross-stones), and enjoy breathtaking views of the gorge. Local Produce Tasting: During the tour, a stop is scheduled for a tasting of local regional products. Guests will be able to try Armenian cheeses, dried fruits, homemade sweets, traditional sujukh (a sweet grape juice and nut confection), and other regional delicacies. Jeep Tour (Optional): For those interested, a jeep tour of the surrounding area can be arranged for an additional fee. The route runs along scenic mountain roads and lookouts, offering breathtaking views of the canyons, cliffs, and valleys of the Vayots Dzor Province. Return: After the tour concludes, return to Yerevan. Overnight stay at the hotel in Yerevan.
