The beginning of autumn is the perfect season in Armenia. The nature starts changing its colors, and the extreme heat is replaced by gentle weather. The rains are rare, and every day pleases its residents and guests with sunlight.  Both in the capital and surrounding areas, it is warm, but not hot with an average temperature of + 23 / + 27 C, and it almost never rains during this period. Markets are full of seasonal vegetables and fruits, among which the main place is occupied by delicious Armenian grapes. Grapes in Armenia are incredibly delicious, and there are special sorts from which Armenians make wine. If you want to get acquainted with the winemaking in Armenia you can visit the vibrant wine festival, which takes place annually from 2 to 3 October, in the village of Areni, and is accompanied by a vivid parade of the best winemakers, as well as dancing and singing.

Day 1
Arrival to Yerevan. Meeting. Transfer from airport “Zvartnots” to hotel.

Day 2
Visit to St. Ecmiadzin Cathedral, St. Gayane church, St. Hripsime church, Zvartnots Cathedral ruins, Ararat Brandy Company/tour by  Brandy factory and tasting Armenian brandy/.
Visit to Matenadaran – the museum of oldest manuscripts.
Tsitsernakaberd: Genocide memorial 1915. Having rest at beautiful  Cascade.

Day 3 
Visit to Saghmosavank monastery, Ohanavank monastery, Mughni St Gevorg ministry. Oshakan: St Mashtots church Mesrop Mashtots – the founder of Armenian Alphabet, is buried.
Visit valley of Armenian Aplhabet , St Cross: commemoration to 1700 years of adopting Christianity in Armenia as State religion, visit to Amberd fortress.

Day 4
Visit to Khor Virap monastery, valley of Ararat, admiring the  beautiful view of Biblical Ararat mount where, Noah’s ark landed..
Visit to Areni wine factory, wine tasting, visit to Yeghegnadzor  Noravank monastery, visit to “Bird Cave” where an archaeological group found the oldest Shoes (now those are kept in the Armenian Historical Museum) .

Day 5 
Visit to Garni Pagan Temple : Greco-Roman style.
Geghardavank Cave monastery, where about 600 years the famous “Lance” that spear Jesus Christ was kept. Hiking to Stone symphony in canyon of Azat.  Participation in baking of Armenian bread “Lavash”.

Day 6
Transfer to the airport. Departure
