Day 1/2:

Arrival – Hotel check in (in Yerevan) City Tour – Genocide – Charents Ark – Lunch – Garni –Gheghard–Yerevan.
Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast City tour in Yerevan. We will drive to Charents Ark. Charents was an Armenian poet, writer and public activist. Genocide Museum is Armenia’s official memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, built in 1967 on the hill of Tsitsernakaberd in Yerevan.

Lunch in habitat house.

Garni Temple was built in the first century A.D. by the Armenian King Tiridates and it is dedicated to a heathen god, probably to Mithra, the god of the sun whose figure stood in the depth of the sanctuary. Higher up the gorge of the Azat river, there is a magnificent monument of medieval Armenian architecture Geghard monastery inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list.Back to Yerevan

Day 3: 

Yerevan – Zvartnots – Echmiadzin – Lunch – Brandy Factory – Parajanov – O/N Yerevan.
After breakfast we will be driving to Zvartnots Temple. Zvartnots temple is the pearl of the 7th century architecture (inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list). We will continue the tour to Echmiadzin. The Church was built between the years 301 – 303 AD under the Armenian king Tiridates III and the first Armenian Catholicos, St. Gregory the Illuminator.

Lunch in Echmiadzin. Back to Yerevan.

Visiting famous AraratBrandy Facory. Ararat Brandy Factory is the leading enterprise of Armenia for the production of alcoholic beverages. Its main brand name is Ararat. We will walk around the ageing cellar and see how the brandy spirits are preserved, know who have nominal barrels and enjoy the delicate aroma of the cellar. We will have a pleasant and memorable time in the tasting hall enjoying the delicious “THREE STARS”, “AKHTAMAR”.

Parajanov Museum is a tribute to one of the greatest figures of 20th-century world cinema. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 4:

Yerevan – Khor-Virap – Areni – Lunch – Noravank – O/N Yerevan.
After breakfast we will drive to the monastery complex of Khor Virap – the place of imprisonment of St. Gregory the Illuminator, who stayed here in the small dungeon for 13 years without any food, accused by the Armenian King of preaching Christianity. Here is also the closest and most spectacular view of the gorgeous biblical mountain Ararat shining with its two white peaks.

Areni is a village in the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia. It is best known for its wine production, although the majority of wine produced locally is from the nearby village of Getap. We will tasting Areni wine. Lunch in Noravank.  Noravank is a 13th-century Armenian monastery, located 122km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu river, near the city of Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. The gorge is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. Drive back to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 5:
Yerevan – Sevan -Sevanavank – Lunch – Dilijan – O/N Dilijan.

After breakfast and check out we will drive to Sevan. Lake Sevan sits at about 70 miles north of Yerevan. This huge mountain lake, which takes up to 5% of Armenia’s surface area and is about 2,000 meters above sea level, is one of the highest among the freshwater lakes in the world. Sevanavank is a monastic complex located on a peninsula at the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. Lunch in Sevan. Driving to Dilijan. Check in. Overnight in Dilijan.

Day 6: 

Dilijan – Haghartsin – Lunch – Sanahin –Alaverdi.
After breakfast we will check out. We will have a city Tour in Dilijan. We will be driving to Haghartsin. Haghartsin is a 13th-century monastery located near the town of Dilijan in the Tavush Province of Armenia. It was built between the 10th and 14th centuries (in the 12th under Khachatur of Taron); much of it under the patronage of the Bagratuni Dynasty. Sanahin is a village in the northern province of Lori in Armenia. The village is notable for its Sanahin Monastery complex, founded in the 10th century and listed as a UNESCO. Later on we will drive to Tufenkian Hotel. Check in. Overnight in Alaverdi.

Day 7: 

Alaverdi – Bagratashen border –Tbilisi.
After breakfast we will check out and drive to Bagratashen. We will change the guide and coach.
Meeting at Sadakhlo border. Change guide and car there. Transfer to Tbilisi. Check in. Rest
Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 8: 
We will have Tbilisi tour. We will visit the Old Tbilisi Sulfur Baths, Georgian Orthodox and Armenian Gregorian churches, and a Jewish synagogue and a Turkish mosque side by side, reflecting Tbilisi’s acceptance and tolerance of different religions. We can also see a recent monument, the Tbilisi Sameba Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the Caucasus. Tour includes following sights: Metekhi Churchis erected on the cliff, overlooking the Mtkvari River. The colorful Darejani Palace is also situated on the cliff, like the nest of a swallow. The Sulfur Baths are located in Old Tbilisi, on the other side of the river, opposite Darejani Palace. The Orthodox Narikala St. Nikolas Church is in the same district. The church is furnished with frescoed portraits of martyrs and scenes from the Bible. It is wrapped in a defensive Narikala fortress, established in the fourth century.

At Leselidze Street, we will come across the 13th century Armenian St. George Church and a Jewish synagogue with an elegant facade. Here you will discover Shardeni Street with its fashionable cozy cafes and art galleries. We will visit Karvasla – a multi – storey building located in the district of Old Tbilisi. We will also visit Meidan Bazaar, where you can find all kind of Georgian souvenirs and wine. Finally, the tour will take you to Rustaveli Avenue, where attractions such as the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Parliament, Rustaveli Theatre, different art galleries and cafes will draw your attention and provide a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 9: 

Departure day. Transfer from the hotel to Tbilisi airport.
